Hi, terryrocks,
You can run the Monitor Out to the Effects Return of a guitar amp (if it has an effects loop).
On the Kemper Output section (page 1/8) - enable Monitor Cab Off.
You can try the Monitor Out (again with Monitor Cab Off) to the guitar amp input, but you could end up with some odd results or you may really like it. Start with the output level of the Kemper low so you don't clip the input of the amp. That would sound bad.

cool. My old fender and ampeg amps don’t have an effects return

Used to run it into my Deluxe reverb directly in the front, adjusting the level is tricky but try doing some ABing with the raw guitar and Cab off monitor output from the kemper. Sounds ok with many amps, not so much with others, but in my experience it is the same with changing cabs, the Deluxe reverb imprints its tone, but using the kemper as a preamp gets some interesting results (Except with the reverb onboard the delux, it sounds muddy as hell).

That being said, it is not ideal, but I got some nice tones, who would have tought I actually liked the Morgan AC20 from rmpacheco the best trough the deluxe, more than FRFR and more than with my cabs.

Using a Valvetrain PowerTrain Studio 20. Much better "in-the-room" sound.
