Dont think so, by all intentions, the OD sounds really similar to TS808, but as you get the tone and drive up, they differ appart a lot. Havent tried the drive, but the fact that in the presets tones are set, means the drive can do tons of nice stuff, but might not be as flexible as we want it to be. Still awesome, if they reach a fraction of the Klon tones with this, it is a ton of bucks right there.

it’s because the basic design of most OD pedals like the TS And Klon incudes a portion of the clean sound in behind the clipped sound. On the other hand pedals like the OCD don’t include this clean (“transparent “) component.

I hate playing out running a beta OS. Maybe if I rush and update the OS on my Kemper, bars will start having bands, around here, again! =)

Need more time tweaking the kemper drive, but the fulltone OCD sim is spectacular for me.

The new drives are *very* good IMHO. I don't really care if they sound 'exactly' like anything. These are good, usable sounds right out of the box.

I just get a .pkg file which only reinstalls RM - I can't find any presets folder and the only Factory Content is 7.5.

Presets attached. I had trouble finding them, too. You had to get them with the standalone 8.0.0.21450 beta release.

I'm pumped about the Kemper Drive so far. I tried on it a few low- and high-gain Rigs tonight. It sounds great and seems super versatile. I can tell I'm going to get some miles out of it. Thanks, Kemper team!

Only thing I'd change is that it seems to suck out some lows at most settings. Not a problem when you can add an EQ before the amp, but perhaps it needs to have its own bass knob.

The presets are in the download page of Kemper for the beta. Even if you update it from Rig Manager you just can download the zip file and find a folder inside with all the new presets.

I actually had not downloaded that file. Everything I have was updated through the rig manager and I did not see the files so I made them. Now I have them, thanks.

This is such a great add to the KPA and fills the only part of the device that I felt wasn't "industry leading".

My ears are "notoriously allergic" to harshness and phase issues.

What I've heard so far proves to me that Kemper totally "gets it". Unbelievable.
