This! I love this one for ages for the defined and great tone it creates with different guitars. Superb sound as always Nate. Different from the last one but again great job! Your double tracking is extremely tight, I like that combined with those sounds which are not too high gain. Gives a full picture. And by the way: Cool voices. I hear some lovely early Van Halen in it. Cool thing

deadman42 I very much appreciate the things you pointed out because they are things I am working hard on! I was browsing through my rigs and the moment I found that MBritt profile I literally played that opening chord sequence and was blown away. Within 15 min I had a song. I left his delay setting the same. And thanks also for the early VH reference in the chorus. Exactly what I was going for minus the ball crushing Michael Anthony high harmony!! Lol

mickey No spdif....no interface....I record via monitor out to an 8 track digital device. Extremely low fi. Im old and lazy....lol. My recordings are obviously not pro tools quality but I would argue that the cleanness of the Kemper tones are still quite good this way....or at least good enough for my purposes.

As for our governor....its a good thing she is hot...makes her nonsense a lot more tolerable! Lol

Hah love it, good track, super hooky. Two thing that bother me, first is the drums they just aren’t massive enough for the massive licks you’re pulling, better kick and snare sounds are required. Check out the work Beinhorn did with Hole for a good example of huge drums, maybe even hold the cymbals a bit to give you contrast at the chorus. The second is that the chorus “one more day” it’s itching for that “one” to be a couple of tones higher to really scream it in DLR style to being in the energy it needs.

Per I really appreciate the feedback. This is the first song I recorded using my new Yamaha dtx522k drum set. I love the sounds but still fiddling with levels so hopefully the next one will have drums much more in your face. As for the vocal, I wish I could do a Michael Anthony high harmony!
