Octave down pitch shift on lowest 3 strings feature?

I do this with my GR55
What is the thread about doesn’t need an exaphonic pickup, just a some minor programming since is a tweak of the Octaver effect. The Boss OC-3 does the job, is just a low pass or high pass filter on the effected signal
-
Hmmm... such old thread and still nothing? I tried parallel path with octaver and have some findings:
1. octaver (no mater which) has poor quality tbh. Works for one one, but each small "interruption" to signal by adding second notes breakes quality drastically.
2. I couldn't find any effect which would be able to cut signal above set freq totally. Each eq makes it a bit silent but still, you cannot eliminate it completely. It would be nice to have some built in kind of "eliminator" effect which will be real hi/low cut filter... any recommendations?

I have the boss oc3 in a loop. I never succeeded to achieve with Kemper effects. I hope they will develop it one day 🤞🏻
-
Yeah, there are many threads about the same request...
What matters the most, apart from more or less useful comments and suggestions, will be Kemper's response on this.
Since many have requested this, I like to think that devs are just too busy with other projects ATM but they will finally respond positively.

Kemper virtually *never* comments on upcoming feature additions. 24 posts with a handful of liked posts since 2020 isn't going to get their attention.
I'd like to see the feature, but doubt it's coming.
Happy to be wrong.

Well, lack of a response - as you suggest - doesn't imply they did not pay attention or they are not going to do anything out of it. We just don't know

They’ve said in the past - more than once - the more noise made, the more likley.

So you are agreeing with me? I am confused
-
I don't care if they share info about the upcoming features or not, but this feature does not sound so complex to do. Hope they check forum:D and seriously, 3 years is long time to add this

I'm not the least bit opposed. Not something I'm pining for, though.

The same for me, when playing solo with a singer it's very helpful. I keep asking for years and it should be a very simple task to program but no way..
I hate going around with with extra cables effects power plug..

Yes, octaver, eq and parallel path are in the box. Only very few is missing.
-
I’m pretty sure, to do what you ask, you would need a hex pickup and guitar synth unit.
-
The boss oc3 do the job. I use it for many years and it is almost always on. I use it with electric, acoustic steel or nylon.
I guess it is just an octaver on a frequency range. -

Nah - The Boss OC-3 (as is said above) works pretty well.
-
Interesting
-
The pitch-range logic has been updated in the current Boss OC-5, with additional features. It works well, too, without needing a hex pickup.
-
The best argument for the features is : it replaces the bass player in my band. 😁
So more space on the stage, on the car needed, money divided in two instead of three…
