Pete's demo reminds me of some Prince type sounds like the beginning of When Doves Cry.

Still wait for the Thorn review.Till yet..not impressed at all..

I know were off topic so I’ll keep this reply short.
i actually prefer the sound of the Kemper over my valve amps in most cases. That's what I've also learned, when I used my TwoRock in a rehearsal after months of continous Profiler-Use (live and during rehearsals)

Blimey, its all happening now!

Tl;dw from Rhett's video is that the capture is better than kemper, but the current amp models and effects are inferior to AxeFXIII. Also, Rhett's video is not a review paid for by Neural.
-
I thought so too based on the youtube video. I listened to the wav files after that though and the kemper sounded closer.
-
I love my Kemper I really do but there's no denying the new kid on the block.
The competition is a good thing.
-
Not going to lie, this thing is starting to look real good. It's looking more and more like a Helix and Kemper stage had a kid.
-

I mostly agree. Neither the kemper nor QC are perfect, but I do think the kemper is closer in this test. Listening to the wavs, the QC has a noticeable cocked wah tone to it and is a bit brighter than the amp; whereas, the kemper is a bit congested in the low-mids.
-
I read the youtube comments, and it sounds like Rhett may have uploaded the same file twice for the kemper and amp files.
I looked at the inner contents of the files though, and it seems like they're different. To me they didn't sound identical.
We'll see if Rhett says one way or the other.
-
All I can say from the vids is..sounds good. But nothing which makes me go "wow".
I will wait a year or so.And then I will take a look around for what we have here after the hype-dust settles down..
-
The wow feature of the QC is that it can allow you to profile two pedals and two amps and allow you to use them all at the same time.
-
I’m excited by it. Looking forward to capturing my analogman Beano boost and KTR Klon
-
Rhett's files were the same. He updated them.
