Kemper Stage sounds bad, all of a sudden.

Hi all,

I'll try to describe my issue the best I can, but it's a little difficult. All of a sudden, all of my profiles sound different. When I reference my beloved Twinery profile, it now sounds like sort of as if there's no cab involved anymore, way more direct. I connected the Stage just normally, like I always do (2 balanced 1/4 cables). I was using the rig manager when it happened, and it was buggy as hell when using it. I can clearly see that the cabinet is turned on, but it does not sound like that at all. I already tried the 'Init Global Settings', but that didn't solve anything.

I know it's a long shot. Anybody able to help me out?

Have you checked if the output setting has changed?

Has it happened again? Try other outputs, try turning it on and off, try unplugging.

This hasn't particularly happened to me, but I've had had some small audio bugs too.

It is constant, with every profile. I did a factory reset, well sort of, by holding the system soft button while turning the kemper on. still no luck. really weird

Try using headphones. If you are outputting using the monitor outputs make sure that you are not disabling the cab for the monitor

I tried headphones also, no difference.. I use the main outputs..

I would try to reinstall any firmware or maybe roll back to a past update. Sorry I can't help you much

Contacting Kemper directly is probably your best shot (https://www.kemper-amps.com/contact)

Make sure you check your spam folder, I once contacted them and it got sent there.

I would love to try to reinstall the firmware, but i don't know how to do that, and I couldn't find any info about that...
