So I have 2 Kemper Toasters....One is for my personal use, the other is a rental unit ...I see an old thread about having 2 connected to RM ...did this ever get resolved?
How do I go about having the 2 setup completely differently....surely not 2 computers ?
2 Kempers connnected is not a problem. The only issue I have is that you can’t pick which KPA to preview the rig on. So if you want to try what rigs sound good together the best way to do it is turn one KPA to perform mode and preview a rig on the one which is set to browser and then vice Verda when you want to preview the rig on the other KPA
Should I use a different USB stick to back up the 2nd Kemper ?
I assume if I do use a different PC that's the best solution?
Ok, so I registered the 2nd Kemper, connected to Mac and RM, then copied the Rigs on the 2nd unit to RM in a new folder, now Im going to factory restore the Kemper.
I renamed the 2nd Kemper now 2 show up in RM which is fine for now.
Should I use a different USB stick to back up the 2nd Kemper ?

Yep i would back them up on 2 different sticks just to be safe
Not sure, why you want to have backups on separate USB memory sticks!?
Backup names show the owner name and a time stamp. Of you enter different owner names in both devices, you can immediately distinguish which backup is from which device. You could also change the file name of the backup to something which is more meaningful as long as you leave the extension as is.
Backups can be exchanged between both devices. For full compatibility both devices should run the same operating system.
