Whats the best cable to record with?. My interface unfortunately doe not have spidf. I've been using a mogami XLR cable but recently have seen people using 1/4 inch in and have been wondering if thats a better option. I havent been able to find a clear answer searching on here. Also should it be an unbalanced 1/4 inch if thats the best route? Thank you for your help.
Best cables to connect Kemper to Interface that doesn't have Spidf. XLR or 1/4 inch?

Either is fine and the difference is negligible. Although, a balanced cable will provide better shielding to outside interference.

XLRs are the better choice, since these connections are balanced - the 1/4 inch outputs are not.

good call. I always just assumed the 1/4 were balanced TRS. Quick check of the manual and you are right. I have always ised XLR so far anyway but at least I learned something new this morning.
Thanks Michael.
