Speaker for an 80s Thiele cab

I wanted to experiment with creating profiles using different cabs, so I just picked up a Mesa Thiele 1x12" cabinet from the 80s.

It's not got a speaker in it, so I am contemplating my options. Seems like these would be great with an EVM12L, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I'm also narrowing in on a Hesu Wizard cabinet with a Demon speaker. I know those aren't too well recommended. Or are they? Inputs would be good before I splash the cash.

Note, I'll be gigging with the speakers once I pick up a stereo power amp module for the Kemper.

Forums are slow, so I just bought an EVM12L anyway.

I liked how it sounded in most comparison videos, so I figured the extra price was worth it.

Hello "nightlight",

that was the right choice ; such TL 806 box is specially disigned for the EVM 12 L (Thiele parameters).
Since the eighties I use two of them (in mahogany) with my Boogie.
However, I use fr/fr for the Kemper.
I'm sure, you will have much fun with this perfectly matched speaker/box combination.

I was going to suggest you buy a WGS 12L -- by all accounts I've read, it's a better 12L than the EVM 12L.

Also, the Bogner Cube is a virtual copy of that cabinet (dimensions and port math, etc.) and usually comes with a V30... maybe you could try a V30 in there.

Haha, now I feel immediate buyers' regret, and I haven't even got the speaker yet
