Hi guys, just sharing my guitar cover of Michael Jackson's Dirty Diana from the Bad album, bad being good.

I was using the usual Laboga Alligator profile for the main melody, and some Marshall CM Drive (eight hundred) for rhythm parts. In the solo It was the Laboga with an added green scream and some chorus. And there concludes the nerd section :D

I was going to listen to see if you'd achieved that extra cut and bite with the greenscream, but you gave the game away by telling us you used it, Dave.

Say, was this a song where that Aussie chick played the heavy rhythm and lead? If so, I'm betting this is the first time you've copped a lead break originally played by a chick, no? Just shows how few female lead guitarists feature in commercial music. Sad, really.

Nevertheless, you did it justice, as always. Wuddun, mate.

Nice job! Really enjoyed your playing. Good tones, good chops ... what's not to like?

According to Wiki it was Steve Stevens (I thought it was Jennifer Batten lol), not Orianthi (Ritchie Sambora's ole lady now lol).

    :P Anyways, you're a machine Dave - good stuff!

Yeah, I was thinking of Jennifer.

I should have remembered that the single was recorded in the '80s, well before her "time".

    Thanks Shawn.

Nice cover. It's true there aren't enough lady guitarists out there, but I do see a lot of female bassists kicking ass.

I met Jennifer on MJ's Bad tour 88' and she showed my her gear but it was long ago... She even showed me the "Beat it" solo. Very nice person to a nobody like me.
