What kind of music are you listening to right now?

Thanks for sharing, the Mike Dawes and Tommy video. It IS brilliant.

An odd path took me to this rare song. The label on the side of my secondhand TEAC A-2340SX real-to-real says Likewise Productions. I never researched it till now. After browsing around for a bit I think it may have come from Jeff Holt's studio in Berkeley from the 1980s. The band is The Mod-L Society with a pre-Counting Crows Adam Duritz on vocals. It was recorded and mixed at Likewise Productions. Maybe my deck was involved? Regardless, it's a good song from 1986 that I never heard before.

It also makes me realize that yes, I really do have too much stuff!

You can tell that's an old mix since it sounds like it's mono.

Now if someone can only prove to me that my Tascam Portastudio is the one that Springsteen recorded his Nebraska album on I'd be set.

Nazareths original singer Dan McCafferty left earth today for another existence

It's so courios .Yesterday i saw exactly this video cause i remember me on one of my first concerts i ever visit - Nazareth.

And today Dan is dead.

Liked it the first time I heard the song and recorded it to tape cassette from radio like we used to do back then. Very underrated BS song if you ask me. Great cover but no one can replace Tommi on guitar though.
