Completely hollow, no tone block.
Not for a loud stage, but on a moderately loud stage (live drummer - but not crazy loud), this works well and can move into glorious musical feedback.

Yes. I have an Ibanez Marco Sfogli Signature with wengué neck and feels very similar to the rosewood. Smooth, woody, very confortable.
