If you look at the news page http://www.kemper-amps.com/news (which I'm sure we're all doing anyway!!) and look at the video posted for 3.2 when PureCab came out. Go to 3.11 onwards in the video and you'll see a Cornford named profile by Ace with a Blackstar named amp.

Not necessarily, CF could have implemented an algorithm that could, in realtime, merge two profiles into a 'third' that the audio engine is running...
Just a thought...
I suggested this ages ago. If you have some variables and an equation that simulates Amp A, and another set of variables and an equation that simulates Amp B, it should be possible to have the Kemper do some number-crunching and spit out a blended profile.

The funny thing is, I was going to make a joke using the standard reply about digital latency (that it usually takes longer for the sound from your amp to travel the physical distance to your ears), but it turns out that I am precisely 200 km from Recklinghausen (as the crow flies), so if Ir. Kemper shouted the news really loud from the top of that mining shaft, it would take almost exactly 10 minutes for me to hear it.
So there: no more latency than the analog method!
