I'd like to be able to connect mono-sources to the Kemper via aux-in. Currently if you do so, you only hear it on left or right channel.
I'm using a Digitech Trio for jamming via headphone and have the guitar connected to the usual input to use Kemper sounds and the backing drums and bass connected to aux in. Through headphones the backing is only on the left or right track.
Please make it possible to hear a mono source connected via aux in on both stereo channels!
Mono/Stereo switch for aux-input

+1 on this one!
Would be great so you could use the aux in AND the fx loop, not just one. -
I have a Digitech Trio too, a nice piece of gear, and had the same problem as you. Here is my fix:
I'm connecting the headphones output which is stereo to the kemper aux-in (requires a 1x stereo jack to 2x mono jack cable).
The problem is the trio is always sending the guitar signal to the headphones output, this is not what we want of course, we want to hear the kemper guitar signal
So I've added a ABY box to control which guitar signal I'm hearing.
Well this is a bit clumsy to use but the fault is on the trio. They should offer a way to control the guitar signal on/off, for example, if they detect a jack plugged in the AMP output, they shouldn't play it in the headphones out.
I've complained to their tech support about this, not sure if this will lead somewhere, but at least there is a USB to update the firmware. For those who don't know this great little box, here is how to play Where's my mind with it (4:15):

I agree with MtotheEikel and arrgrr!

Agreed, it would be a useful feature.

+1 Great Idea!

@phitschi posted a case where this feature would be useful in another Thread (Monitoring über den Kemper
When you get a mono monitor signal from the mixer and use stereo for your guitar, you have the monitor signal just on one side.
With a mono/stereo switch you could have it on both. -
Please add this feature!
-
Just get a stereo cable and bridge the connection?
-
I know that my goal can be achieved by doing this but since I guess it's not a really big deal to add such a switch I made this request. It surely isn't a top priority feature for me, but it would be quite helpful.
If it is a big deal, then surely there are more important feature requests which should be dealt with first -
10 minutes ago, I talked with the Kemper support.
They have red this request this morningI guess - if this feature will be supported - it makes sense to use the XLR Return Input, because it is a symmetrical input.
All mixers that I know have a symmetrical mono output.
By this way the benefits of a symmetrical connection can be used.Further, a setting to balance the Aux Input Level and the Guitar Level - by one knob - would be great.
And... it is not the end
A limiter is a great thing. -
A limiter is a great thing.
Yes, so I can get rid of my mixer with brick wall limiter that I'm using for in ear monitor!

+1
as far is I know this feature is not implemented yet. If it is possible it would make things a little bit for me to use right now.
I guess I'll hear the band in mono then. -
+1 (if it should not have been implemented yet)

It would be a hardware modification and open a door to Kemper 2
Generally a senseful wish. Till it's realized (and I have paid for a Kemper 2) I will use a soldered bridge on the TRS-Jack
BTW: The normal approach is to use Aux input and Alternative Input withe a y-Kabel Stereo ZRS to 2 Mono TR Jack

That's my way of using it too. But I think it is not necessarily a HW modification. Depends on the internal signal routing.

I guess that a stero plug including internal wiring at the KPA instead of a mono plug is a HW modification

The point is, that a mono signal is doubled on the headphone out. So you connect either the left or the right side (mono) and get stereo on the headphone out.
-
Excellent, support this idea!
