Brand new profiler knob hardware issue?

Hey There,
By my suggestion a friend of mine just acquired a brand new Kemper Power Rack.

After about a day of use he noticed that the 4th knob doesn't seem to function correctly ... See attached video;

I instructed him on performing a hardware test using Maintenance Mode, and it seems its stuck on that 4th potentiometer.

Is this truly a hardware error in your opinion or is there anything else that can be done except for returning to the store?

Any thing like this I would contact support. They will be able help you best and they are very quick at replying. Hope ya get it sorted

At first it seems like a defective rotary encoder to me. But after watching the video again it looked like the value was jumping quite much.

Do a full reset and put the newest firmware on it. If the problem is still there, take it back to the store for an exchange unit.

Contact support - no reason not to. You can always do the reset/firmware stuff afterwards, or take it back to the dealer.

That looks like a bad rotary encoder to me.
