This is prob a big ask BUT here's a schematic for a EHX deluxe electric mistress pedal. http://www.metzgerralf.de/elekt/stomp/mi…stress-v5.shtml
I had sold it on ebay but the buyer returned it as faulty.I suspect they tried to use a standard 9v power adapter rather than the 24v (reverse polarity) EHX adapter. So it looks like they may have fried something. Can anyone work out the likely component form the schematic or point me in the direction of someone who can repair? Based in the UK.
Is there an electronic person who can read a schematic for an FX pedal?

- Assuming he did hook it up in reverse, my first guess would be the capacitors right after the 24v input, but the schematic doesn't number them so it'd be pretty difficult to locate them without looking at the board yourself.
- Once one component fries, there's a good chance the next one in line is going to fry too... etc. I'd be surprised if it's even fixable for less than the cost of a new pedal.

Thanks again.. That's what I feared..
