Really nice playing!!!! Would you be willing to share the profile for GnR? Or maybe the amp and settings you used? They are spot on and sound a lot better than the ones I am using.

Hi mate, rig is already up on the exchange. Its a slightly modified sheguitarplayer profile
Search for sheguitarplayer and I think the profile was called "slash tone" glad you enjoyed!
I think the other videos had lasse lammert chug chug with some verb and delay a sinmix hector profile and the famous Morgan profile

I think I added a drive pedal, a wah, a different can as per a forumites recommendation and a studio eq to clean up some mud

What pickups are you using on the slash and GNR videos?

Pickups are the 496R and 498T

My Fav pickups are the 490R and 498T, I'm thinking if I had the alnico pros that slash uses it might be closer sounding

honestly i thought you had slash pickups, the videos sound very close to my ears

i quite like the stock gibson 490R and 498T too. i had them in 2 lespauls ( a cheesehole and a chambered) and an sg and they sound very different in the 3 guitars but i always thought they sounded better in the chambered lespaul guitar for whatever reason.
